Overview
The Haute42 R16 is a stickless controller with 16 buttons. This time around, there is a button on the left for your pinky. Otherwise, this slim controller brings back the dual layout, so you can use it like a standard stickless controller or WASD controller if you wish.
With Kailh Crystal low profile switches as well as RGB LED, the big keycaps are 25.8 mm, and the small keycaps are 20.6 mm. The 6 mm function buttons, which can be found on the upper right of the top panel, are for:
- Touch
- PS/home
- Share/back
- Options/start
The USB-C port comes out of the center back, and on the right, there is a port for a dongle to enhance the R16’s compatibility. The dongle can be the BOOTER 5. As for the upper left of the top panel, it has an OLED display screen, showing from your inputs to the current mode.
Needless to say, the R16 features SOCD cleaning (as well as turbo). The tech savvy may be excited to know that the overclocked polling rate results in less than a millisecond of input latency.
What you can also get with the R16 includes an extra switch, switch puller, and a couple of 6 mm buttons.
