Overview

The DuelPad Cross A21 is a stickless acrylic controller that has a whopping 21 buttons, and the EPIG A16 edition has 16 buttons. The A21’s extra buttons are for inputs like L3 & R3, and there are also extra buttons to make the controller function like a hitstick.

The keycaps, which range from 24 to 28.5 mm in size, are multicolored & injection-molded, and the switches are Kailh Choc low profile.

There are labels on the buttons for different platforms. The option buttons on the upper right are for turbo, home, select, and start. The DuelPad claims custom macro buttons and dual directional control.

Here are some more features:

  • OLED display
  • Dozens of LED patterns
  • LS & RS emulation
  • Built-in web configuration
  • Overclocked polling rate for minimal latency

The DuelPad has three toggles: focus, input, and SOCD. The focus toggle is essentially a tournament lock that disables start, select, home, capture, LS, RS, and OLED. The input toggle is for changing the input mode. The SOCD toggle switches between SOCD cleaning modes.

The SOCD modes include first priority, up priority, last input priority, and neutral. The USB-C port is in the back left, and a PlayStation 5 dongle can be inserted into the port on the right.

The DuelPad comes with an anti-slip rubber pad as well as a keycap puller. You can even prop up the controller with two aluminum stands. The art of the DuelPad is customizable, and we at The Arcade Stick have a custom art service.
