Performance
The buttons of the 6 in 1 Arcade Fight Stick feel rather good. However, the joystick, which seems to have a square gate, is not the most responsive, especially for Nintendo Switch titles that might require inputs not as common as in mainstream fighting games on the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. To be more specific, it feels as if the joystick drags from side to side as it is wiggled instead of smoothly transitioning from point A to point B.
Hardware
With decent size and moderate weight, this DOBE arcade stick provides all the stability that other state-of-the-art sticks provide without being too much of a nuisance to carry around during transport, something that is made even easier by the convenient handle. The weight comes from the primary component of the unit, which is metal, in addition to some plastic here and there. Specifically, the top panel and base are metallic, and there is plastic housing all around.
The USB cable is three meters long, so there are no qualms when it comes to playing a comfortable distance away from the monitor. The cable goes in and out with complete ease. Pairing the unit with your platform of choice is quite easy as all you have to do is press two buttons for a couple of seconds until the light indicator activates.
Appearance
DOBE’s arcade stick is quite simple in its aesthetic premise, which is not necessarily a good thing. It is primarily black and red with geometric shapes. Both the color scheme and the idea of geometric shapes are not unheard of. Furthermore, DOBE’s attempt at this specific combination of aesthetic elements is not unique enough to turn any heads.
Conclusion
It would be tough to find a solid reason to buy this arcade stick aside from the price.
