Assembled by hand in Oxford, UK, a region that community members often want to buy hitboxes from, OkiBoardArcades has bestowed the OkiBoard upon us!

If you opt for the highest end edition, you are looking at a Brook UFB as the printed circuit board (PCB), which includes Neogeo Mini and Sega Genesis Mini compatibility in addition to the main platforms. Be sure to grab the Brook UFB-UP5 for PlayStation 5 compatibility.

There are also Brook PS3/PS4 Plus and Brook Zero-Pi editions. The JST connector allows for compatibility with any Brook PCB for easy upgrades.

There are red and navy blue Kailh BOX switches in addition to a switch puller. A switch puller, as its name indicates, helps you pull switches out.

All editions include secondary buttons that use navy blue Kailh BOX switches, which are heavy, clicky, and prevent accidental presses. The secondary buttons are:

  1. Select
  2. Home
  3. Start

As for the controller itself, it is precision laser cut from acrylic and steel for durability purposes. Again, the OkiBoard comes with red Kailh BOX switches, but thanks to hot-swap sockets, it is compatible with any switch in the MX style.

One more thing worth noting is that the front and back panels of the OkiBoard were designed with artwork customization in mind, so if you are up for it, check out our custom artwork service so we can hook you up with an original design!
