Also described as a modular fightstick on Twitter and Instagram, the Furin FRS features a compact and slim 28 mm acrylic case with modular/exchangeable parts. Buttons can be 24 or 33 mm. The top six buttons are start, select, home, touchpad, L3, and R3.
Cherry MX switches are available in the following colors:
Addon kits are available to easily swap Cherry switch types and available for all button layout combinations. In fact, you can change entire button layouts within seconds by using a screwdriver without any soldering or complex wiring. Speaking of which, the USB cable is detachable. As for the printed circuit boards (PCBs), they are from Brook.
You can completely customize and preview the FRS using Furin Arcade’s online simulator. There seem to be hitbox, mixbox, and joystick editions.
Color customization aside, you can upload custom art when ordering the FRS, so to get a head start, you can order some bespoke artwork through our custom artwork service!
