Introduction

The Clear – Pocket is a mini all-key controller by Perfect Clear with two extra keys on the upper right. The DSA keycaps of the Pocket use hot-swappable MX switches that allow you to customize the feeling to your taste.

Performance

There are different switch options you can choose from when shopping for a Pocket, including Akko, Ajazz, and GamaKay. The average response time is 1 ms, and SOCD cleaning is customizable. It is quite refreshing to be presented with such unique switch options, with the GamaKay Phoenix kind not as loud. The secondary buttons are tactically laid out with three on the left and three on the right.

Because of its size, the Pocket is best used on a desk. If you find your Pocket slightly slippery, you can implement a DIY anti-slap pad.

Hardware

There is a PCB cutout on the bottom left. The USB-C port comes out of the center right of the back, and it is recessed for your convenience. Unless you go for the Brook PCB option, the Pocket is powered by a Raspberry Pi Pico that runs the GP2040 firmware for optimal response time.

Appearance

In addition to having customizable RGB LED, the Pocket being made of PBT and layered acrylic results in a slim & attractive look. Not all acrylic layers may have the same strength, so be careful when handling them. We at The Arcade Stick have a custom art service for innovations like the Pocket.
