Overview
The ADK acrylic DIY fightstick case was designed and handmade in France to be compact, transportable, heavy, solid, and clear. It comes with acrylic parts, screws, bolts, rubber feet, and an Allen key. The rest is on you. On the bright side, it takes about an hour to put together the ADK without prior experience and without soldering. Once you take the protective film off the acrylic, the ride begins!
The top and bottom are 6 + 3 mm thick, and there are two plates to insert custom art, which we at The Arcade Stick can provide through our digital art service. The joystick screws are covered by the top plate. As for the sides, they are 6 mm thick. There are also Brook printed circuit board (PCB) mounting holes.
Thanks to four-way fixation, the ADK is perfectly stiff. For maximum transparency, the ADK was crystal-clear lasercut with no cutout marks.
Here are the layouts available to you:
- Hitbox
- Sega 2P
- Hitbox + Sega 2P
The hitbox and Sega 2P layout means you get two layouts instead of a hybrid layout.
Here are the recommended parts:
- Buttons/joystick
- USB cable in
- USB cable out
- USB passthrough
- PCB
- Wiring
The USB passthrough can be Neutrik, and the PCB & wiring can be by Brook. Note that the top panel buttons can be snap-in or screw-in, but for the 24 mm side option buttons, screw-in buttons are recommended since snap-in buttons can struggle to stay in place on the sides due to the 6 mm thickness.
