Overview
Bonjour! France’s Kombox Gaming offers the Kombox Impact, a leverless controller preassembled with Sanwa buttons or in DIY format. All buttons except for the jump button are 24 mm. The jump button is 30 mm. Otherwise, there is a joystick edition as well.
About the option buttons, they are also 24 mm, and there are five of them:
- Start
- Select
- Home
- L3
- R3
Two of the option buttons are on the right, and three of the option buttons are in the back. The back is where you will also find the passthrough.
The USB cable is detachable. PCB options vary, and compatibility can range from limited to extensive, depending on your choice. An Allen key is provided with the controller.
By the way, “Kombox” is a combination of “combo” and “box”. The controller is made of metal with some plexiglass on top held by six screws, so custom art is possible, and we at The Arcade Stick offer a custom art service. There is foam to be found underneath the controller for anti-slipping purposes.
