Introduction

The Atachon Volant is the second offering by Poland’s finest, Atachon Arcade, and it is a bigger counterpart of the Atachon TURBO leverless controller.

Performance

The Volant’s buttons are the bestselling Punk Workshop 30 mm buttons with hot swappable Kailh Choc low-profile switches and RGB LED. The Volant has one extra button on the upper left and an extra button on the center right. There are four function buttons.

What is nice about the Volant is that, despite being a mini controller, its width allows for lap play, so you are not limited to placing it on a desk. Also, the unique directional button layout can cater to those with bigger hands as well.

Hardware

The Volant is comprised of thin sheets of acrylic that have a PCB between them, with the PCB running on the GP2040-CE firmware. The USB port is type C. If you have the appropriate dongle, you can make the Volant run on the PlayStation 5.

Appearance

The Volant is a thing of art, thanks to the smooth acrylic layers & PCB art, and its optional LED is the cherry on top. Matte black is also a color option for the Volant.

For custom art on top and at the bottom, we at The Arcade Stick can help you with that through our art service. In fact, check out this Volant art by our Felipe Fernandez:
