Overview
The BnB Gen 3 is an acrylic leverless controller by jonyfraze with a modular top panel, so you can choose a top panel layout today and switch it out tomorrow without having to buy a new case again. This saves you money and time. Layouts also include WASD and joystick, with Korean joysticks being compatible too.
More BnB Gen 3 layouts may come out in the future, but for now, you can pick aspects like the side panel style and height as well as the bottom feet’s color. If you would like to make the controller even more stable, you can request a bottom foam pad.
When you order the BnB Gen 3, it comes as a DIY kit. Luckily, it should be easy to assemble. In fact, the design was put together with beginners in mind.
The BnB Gen 3’s pieces fit together seamlessly through screws, standoffs, and precut spaces. Oh, and add to that the joystick mount, which uses a simple set of bolts, washers, and nuts to ensure that the lever stays in place.
After you put together your BnB Gen 3, you may be glad to notice the smooth corners of the top and supporting panels compared to the very first BnB.
Did you know that the BnB Gen 2’s top and bottom panels are also compatible with the BnB Gen 3? Not only that, the slimmer top panel of the BnB Gen 3 (and now the BnB Gen 2 too) allows for the installation of snap-in buttons. Let us dive into more detail about the structure of this controller:
- The inner side panels have flared openings for snap-in button tabs.
- The inner side panels are also simpler and easier to install due to them interlocking.
- The outer side panels come in clear or black matte.
- Printed art can be sandwiched between the inner and outer side panel, depending on your order.
