Introduction
If you are tech savvy, you can get the Podium in a DIY format. Otherwise, you can just order it in a preassembled format, and if you prefer joysticks, a fightstick edition is available as well.
Performance
The Podium features 24 mm Sanwa buttons along with a 30 mm Sanwa jump button. Sanwa buttons are known for their responsivity. They are light to activate, but they are not so light that you press them by accident. Furthermore, they are durable, lasting you a long time.
Regarding the Podium’s six function buttons, they are fully sized and located in the back, preventing you from pressing them accidentally or simply getting distracted.
There is plenty of wrist resting space when using the Podium, and its dimensions allow you to place it comfortably on your lap or desk. This is supplemented by four rubber feet at the bottom.
Hardware
The Podium’s structure is made of aluminum and stainless steel. Despite its robust build, the controller feels pleasantly light. In addition, the wiring inside is quite neat and makes modding a smoother experience for you.
Speaking of wiring, the Podium comes with a Brook wiring harness, making your life easier when installing a Brook PCB that gives you diverse compatibility. Also, the controller’s cable is conveniently detachable.
Appearance
The appearance of the Podium shines the most with its ability to accept custom art, which we at The Arcade Stick can help you with through our custom artwork service. You are eight screws away from replacing the artwork!
The Podium’s clear plexiglass allows for the full revelation of beautiful art. Moreover, you can spice up the controller’s button colors. That is in addition to the customizable colors of the case itself. In fact, the Podium has “wings”, which allow you to have more than one color showcased on the controller’s sides.
