Introduction
The KBGM-H07B is a leverless controller with 16 primary buttons by the keyboard maker, DOIO. Six of those buttons are teardrop-shaped, requiring less precision from you to press them.
Performance
You may notice a wider gap than usual between the buttons on the left and the ones on the right. It might take you some time to get used to the KBGM-H07B’s layout if you are already a stickless controller user, but the payoff can be rewarding, especially because of the teardrop buttons. In any case, you can map the buttons using the web console.
With that being said, the low profile PBT keycaps of the KBGM-H07B are injection molded. They are smooth with a slight texture, and they use the low profile Gateron Silver linear switches that are hot swappable, so if you have another brand preference, you can go for that brand instead.
Otherwise, the KBGM-H07B’s stock switches may sound louder than you prefer. Truth be told, some players prefer such significant auditory feedback per press. Maybe you are one of those players.

Hardware
Made of quality aluminum alloy on top, the KBGM-H07B runs on the open source GP2040-CE firmware for compatibility purposes. The onboard screen tells you information like the input, directional, and SOCD modes.
Note that the KBGM-H07B’s top can get cold, and while the controller is thin, it can feel heavy, which is a blessing in disguise because its weight prevents it from sliding around while you play.
Not only that, the KBGM-H07B’s width also allows you to play with the controller on your lap without having to squeeze your legs together, which is something we at The Arcade Stick appreciate.
That aside, there are USB-C ports on the left and back sides of the KBGM-H07B, so you can insert the USB-C cable where it obstructs you the least.
By the way, do you have a PlayStation 5 adapter? If so, you can insert it into the USB-A port within the KBGM-H07B for enhanced compatibility.
Appearance
The KBGM-H07B’s aesthetic elements include RGB LED backlight, and there is a light switch on the side that allows you access to the mode & brightness.
You may be glad to know that the KBGM-H07B is available in many colors. Furthermore, DOIO’s logo is engraved on the top panel’s bottom right, and four stabilization feet can be found at the partially see-through acrylic bottom (in addition to eight screws). These feet should not dig into your lap if you like to play that way.
