Introduction
If you are a fightstick enthusiast, you probably know Brook as the mastermind behind the UFB Fusion that makes an arcade stick compatible with many platforms.
Brought to you in collaboration with Taiwanese manufacturer vetash32, Brook put up five limited edition units of the Brook Fighter Chameleon for sale during Evo Japan 2019. However, it seems that it is readily available nowadays and no longer a limited edition. The name is based on the chameleon that is featured.
Performance
The Sanwa joystick is the JLF-TP-8YT with a plot shaft, and the buttons are the Sanwa OBSF-30. There also seems to be a wooden joystick available. Needless to say, the Sanwa parts are responsive.
Due to the anti-slip pad on the base, the center of gravity is low. Because of that, it is convenient to play with the arcade stick either on your lap or a table.
There are at least five secondary buttons:
- Options
- PS
- Share
- L3
- R3
Hardware
There is SOCD cleaning, and the best PCB option is probably Brook’s Fusion for PlayStation 5 compatibility. Furthermore, the painted metal is anti-sweat and anti-corrosion.
Appearance
Besides red, white, and black editions, there is also a monochrome edition. Now, if you have this case and would like custom art for it, our artist, Carlos Martinez, can do that for you. He has already made custom art for a client’s case and can do the same for yours:
Conclusion
It is easy to understand how Brook’s ZJZ won The King of Fighters XV tournament at Evo with the same case!
