Overview

The Leme Tech Zero is a 20 button controller for Super Smash Bros. It uses MX-style switches that are the smooth Gateron Pro Silvers, but if you have another preference, the switches are actually hot swappable.

The Zero runs on the pico-rectangle firmware. Now, you may be asking, “Come on! Where is my favorite HayBox firmware?” The truth of the matter is that HayBox and even other open source firmware are compatible. Also, good news: the software is remappable.

Other than that, the Zero is powered by the Raspberry Pi Pico as its chip, providing you decent compatibility as well as almost nonexistent input lag.

The USB-C port of the Zero can conveniently be found in the center back. By the way, you should be receiving the following with your purchase of the controller:

  • A couple of USB-C to GCC cables
  • A couple of extra keycaps

As for the Zero’s build, it is made of layered acrylic with a hand-finished aluminum bottom and switch plate. The top panel is held together by 10 screws.

That said, are you into custom artwork? If so, you are in luck because the Zero can accept custom art. In fact, it has a whopping three overlapping art layers!

If you would like custom art, feel free to reach out to us here at The Arcade Stick as we have an art service. We have made art for Smash-style controllers before, such as the art below by our Felipe Fernandez, and we would love to make some art for your Zero too:
