Overview

The Battle Axe by JackWagon FightSticks is a fightstick made of acrylic. Despite the fightstick’s flamboyant design, the corners of the acrylic are rounded for your skin’s comfort.

The acrylic is held together by six screws, which are not too many if you would like to unscrew it, but why would you want to unscrew the Battle Axe’s acrylic in the first place?

The fact of the matter is you can slide custom artwork under the acrylic. If you need custom art, we at The Arcade Stick have an art service to make your Battle Axe represent your taste.

Onward, the Battle Axe is a wide fightstick with plenty of resting space for your wrists, and its width also makes the fightstick comfortable to set on your lap if that is your gameplay style.

You see, the Battle Axe can come with a Korean joystick as well as buttons in the Noir layout. In fact, there are at least five preset layouts in addition to a custom layout. Not only that, there are internal case height options too.

On both sides of the Battle Axe, there are three big function buttons, meaning six total. This is a nice change of pace compared to controllers with tiny pins as function buttons, which can be irritating if you have Michael Jordan hands.

That said, here are some special features of the Battle Axe:

  • Compatibility-boosting dongle possible
  • 3D printed support brackets
  • Replaceable bottom foam
  • Black anti-slip feet
  • 2.5 mm hex key

The foam padding has a JackWagon FightSticks design engraved into it, but a hex key? For what? Well, let us wrap up this article with a bang: you can get the Battle Axe in DIY or preassembled format!

So, if you are in the market for a fightstick that is the creation of a true craftsman, give the Battle Axe a look as its width alone might make it your daily driver.
