Introduction

Mojhon specializes in gaming controllers, and it decided to dip its toes into the leverless market with the Fight Master. This leverless controller is one of those controllers that try to achieve everything.

In essence, the Fight Master has different button shapes in a split layout, and it can even connect wirelessly. Read on to find out more about how this controller may aid you in your pursuit of fighting game success.

Unboxing

The Fight Master comes in a sleek Mojhon black box with a holographic effect. Inside, you should find:

  • Three Kailh Saker Mini switches
  • USB-A wireless receiver
  • USB-C braided cable
  • Switch puller

Performance

The Fight Master has 17 quiet buttons, and five of the buttons are pill-shaped for easier pressing. Furthermore, the buttons—which are essentially PBT keycaps—come in different levels of concavity, convexity, and flatness. Honestly, this aspect feels more like a gimmick, but the innovation is still appreciated.

That said, the Fight Master has a split layout for your comfort, including a WASD layout, and the attack button cluster itself is in the comfortable Noir layout. Not only that, there’s a 6 mm distance between the attack buttons to reduce unnecessary movement and fatigue. These layout aspects keep you up to date with the latest meta.

As for the Kailh Ice Cream Mini switches, which can be hot swapped, these switches have noticeable depth. Other than that, the Fight Master has seven function buttons, and its four toggles include a tournament mode to disable function buttons at a tournament.

Now, reading the labels of the Fight Master’s function buttons and toggles can be quite difficult, so we’ll just spell them out for you here:

  • View
  • Menu
  • Share
  • L3
  • R3
  • Wireless
  • Fn
  • X/D/S
  • LS/DP/RS
  • On/off
  • Tournament mode

(The tournament mode toggle disables the Fight Master’s view, menu, share, L3, and R3 function buttons.)

Hardware

Although slim, the Fight Master is made of one piece of anodized CNC aluminum alloy that gives it a moderate weight. At the bottom, there’s a large anti-slip rubber pad, whereas a carrying handle can be found below the buttons. The controller’s overall size is like an A4 paper.

More importantly, you can connect your Fight Master through these three ways:

  1. Wired
  2. Wireless
  3. Bluetooth

With a 1,000 Hz polling rate and 2,000 mAh battery, you can enjoy up to 24 hours of play with the Fight Master on one charge. Basically, you can find both the USB-A wireless receiver port and USB-C cable port around the controller’s center back area.

Appearance

The Fight Master is a silver controller, and instead of its anti-slip rubber pad being the usual black, it’s colored similarly instead, which is cool to see.

On the flip side, the Fight Master’s cable is black. This cable is detachable, so you can use a cable of a different color if you want anyway.

Otherwise, most of the Fight Master’s black buttons are labeled in white, but to really spice things up, you’ll want to turn on the button LEDs. We’re talking about six RGB lighting effects:

  • Four built-in modes
  • Two custom modes

The coolest thing about the Fight Master’s LEDs is that each button cluster can have its own color. Overall, this is an elegant looking controller.

Conclusion

The Fight Master is what they call an endgame controller. It gives you many tools to level up in fighting games, from pill-shaped buttons in a split layout to optional wireless connectivity, and it does all of that pretty well. Carry it to the next tournament easily using its handle, and we hope you win!
