The HING3DBOX is a 3D-printed controller that you can fold in half for easy carriage and storage. Folding the controller reveals a handle, and magnets keep the controller folded. This innovation can come preassembled or in DIY format.
The preassembled version comes with Sanwa buttons, meaning you get to enjoy responsive buttons that activate quickly when you press them but should not activate accidentally if you simply rest your fingers on them. The jump button is significantly farther apart from the rest of the directional buttons, which can be especially convenient for large-handed players.
The auxiliary buttons are 3D-printed, and they are for:
Be sure to grab the AngleLock addon if you would like to play with the HING3DBOX slightly folded for a unique ergonomic experience.
Despite looking like a toolbox, the HING3DBOX is relatively light. With a smooth texture, the panels of the HING3DBOX are easy to access through three screws.
If you were to go for the DIY version, you get:
- Easy-access panels with two screws
- Cable harness for full installation
- 90° crimp connectors for a slimmer HING3DBOX
- Provision for any PCB with screw connectors
Brook PCBs are available.
With the HING3DBOX, you are almost guaranteed to turn a couple of heads as you make your smooth entry into a tournament venue with it folded up. There are custom rectangular player LEDs, which should only beautify your HING3DBOX further.
