Overview

Yo, there’s a new mini Smash digital controller in the building, and it’s called the Lime Tech Mini. That’s right! This 21 key controller allows you to pick angles via three modifiers instead of the C-stick (for Melee only). These modifiers are ModX, ModY, and ModZ. As for the keycaps, they are made of that there PBT.

Now, you may be wondering about the Mini’s extra key… The truth of the matter is that you can use this modifier as a D-pad activation key in other game modes, which include:

  • Super Smash Bros Ultimate
  • Super Smash Bros Project+
  • Rivals of Aether
  • Rivals of Aether II
  • FGC
  • Keyboard

In any case, dear reader, the standard layout is available. The Mini runs on custom firmware, and on top of that, the software is remappable.

That being said, the Mini comes with smooth Gateron Pro Silver switches that are in the MX style. Fortunately, the switches are hot swappable, so if you have another preference, start swapping, cowboy.

Moving on, the USB-C port of the Mini is located in the center back, and for your convenience, you should be getting a USB-C to GCC cable with your order (as well as an extra key).

When it comes to the Mini’s case, it is 3D printed from durable PETG. The bottom panel is made of aluminum, and it is held together by four screws. If you have the luck of the Irish, you may find all of the following case colors in stock:

  • Black
  • Dark gray
  • Emerald
  • Indigo

To wrap up, if you are still not sold on the Mini’s concept, Leme Tech’s logic behind it was to make angle access to techniques like Firefox simpler while creating more options for techniques like wavedashes.

The result is seven granularity levels for every quadrant, and they are all accessible all the time, so if this kind of leverage interests you, don’t hesitate to give the Mini a look, capeesh?
