Introduction

When Street Fighter 6 dropped, the Snack Box Micro Lite was flying off shelves. It brings you a lot of the same awesome features of the original Snack Box Micro, but this time, you get half the weight—and half the burden.

You may also be delighted to know that the Micro Lite is licensed by Hit Box Arcade, so you don’t have to worry about patent infringement or anything like that.

Unboxing

You can also order accessories with your brand new Micro Lite, such as:

Performance

Starting off, your Micro Lite’s buttons can be convex or concave. Essentially, these are injection molded PBT keycaps with a bit of texture.

Although the Micro Lite is small, it still has bigger leverless controllers’ classic button layout: a 30 mm jump button with the rest of the primary buttons being 24 mm. There are also seven function buttons to navigate menus and so forth.

Your Micro Lite’s primary buttons should be coming with fast Amber switches by default, though you can conveniently hot swap them if needed. In fact, Junkfood Custom Arcades can offer you these low profile Kailh Choc switches:

Hardware

The Micro Lite is robust, meaning you can’t accidentally bend it or something like that. Despite being light, it’s fairly stable on a desk. Having said that, here are your black USB-C cable options:

Appearance

Although the Micro Lite looks pretty simple, you can still make it look prettier in these three main ways:

  1. Opaque or clear case in your preferred color
  2. Buttons in your preferred color
  3. Optional LED

The LED can add some flair to your Micro Lite. More than that, you can press the LED function button to cycle between the color, brightness, and animation.

Conclusion

The Micro Lite gives you what you liked about the original Micro, but this time, it’s noticeably lighter.

  • Lighter yet stable and sturdy
  • Convex or concave keycaps
  • Opaque or clear case
  • Kailh Choc switches
  • Color choices
  • Optional lighting
  • Hit Box Arcade license
