Overview

The rumors are true: SiTong has indeed been selling controllers—in addition to the buttons it became famous for. SiTong launched its store from Taizhou, China in 2017, and only recently did we start seeing its interesting controllers.

Now, while you may be bold enough to browse SiTong’s Alibaba and Taobao pages to explore its controllers, we’ll play it safe for now and just cover this one leverless controller it offers on AliExpress: the H2. That’s because Alibaba is mainly for business-to-business transactions, and Taobao?

It’s really difficult for gringos to browse!

Anyhow, your brand new H2 should arrive with a silicone USB-C cable. If you buy the PlayStation 5 edition, you should be getting a dongle for PS5 compatibility as well.

The PS5 dongle can go into the H2’s USB-A port that is approximately located in the center back. Near that port, specifically in the back right, that’s where the USB-C port is (for the cable).

That said, the H2 is a 17 button controller. This means it has a dual layout: you can use it like a standard leverless controller or even a WASD controller.

That’s because there’s an extra jump button that serves as the W of the WASD layout. Here are some more cool things you can do with the H2’s extra buttons:

  • The left pinky button serves as R1 and R2.
  • The right pinky button serves as L3.
  • The right thumb button serves as R3.
  • The right index button serves as select.

Yep, the H2’s select button is a full sized button as opposed to a tiny function button. Otherwise, there are four tiny function buttons, and they are for:

  1. Start
  2. Touchpad
  3. Home
  4. BOOTSEL

Back to the H2’s main buttons, they are essentially matte keycaps, and even the controller’s surface is matte—providing you a bit of grip. All the main buttons are the same size, and they use ultra-low profile Kailh Choc Red linear switches.

You see that little screen on top of the H2 too? It can tell your input, directional, and SOCD cleaning modes—as well as show an animation of your button presses in real time.

Structurally, the H2 is an acrylic controller held together by seven screws. The controller is small but wide. This means you can place it on your lap without squeezing your legs too much. For enhanced desk play, there are six anti-slip feet at the bottom.

Let’s dive a little bit into looks before we wrap up.

SiTong calls the H2’s color pure white. It’s quite elegant and minimalistic—if Bauhaus. If it looks too boring to you, you can activate the LED that brings the controller to life with some aesthetic lights. Truth be told, it’s not guaranteed you’ll like how the PCB’s mounting pins/standoffs are visible from the bottom, though…

To wrap up, SiTong offers a variety of controllers—whether we’re talking leverless or fightsticks. Browse its inventory to see which controller may be the missing link you need to improve from an intermediate fighting gamer to a full-on pro!
