Introduction
Dahoon is a Korean company that makes arcade sticks, and some of its models include:
- DH-1
- DHU-1000
- DHU-4300

- DHU-5500
The model in this review is the DHU-3300D or Power Stick II Plus.
Performance
The 28 mm snap-in buttons of the Power Stick II Plus may be described as Sanwa clones, but that does not mean you are guaranteed to find replacements if the stock buttons are not your cup of tea.
As for the Korean joystick with a soft grommet, it may be described as a Fanta clone. Both the joystick and buttons sound pretty loud, but they get the job done.
The buttons have a unique layout that is perhaps close to the Vewlix layout or even the Sega 2P layout. There are also two additional buttons that might be of help playing modern fighting games like Street Fighter 6, assuming the mapping is taken care of.
Note that the software, at least at the time of writing, is in the Korean language. It is also worth noting that the Power Stick II Plus provides plenty of wrist resting space and an ergonomic slope. The arcade stick comes with rubber feet per bottom corner, which can add further stability to the already weighty arcade stick.
Hardware
The Power Stick II Plus is thicker than average. You can connect it to your PC with a USB-A cable, which comes out of the back center left.
That said, if your Power Stick II Plus ends up not working with your PC, you probably need to unsolder and swap out the PCB, which you should do with care for your hands’ safety.
Appearance
Dahoon often makes arcade sticks with a vintage look, and the case with the Power Stick II Plus is no different. We are talking about a gray arcade stick with a black joystick and red buttons.
On the upper left of the top is the name of the arcade stick in a not-so-modern font, and the website of the company showing up on the upper right is a rare sight.
Conclusion
The Dahoon Power Stick II Plus seems like the type of arcade stick a Korean gamer from the 90’s would consider.
