Performance
Haute42 is an award winning company that often combines performance with affordability. The T16-PU contains 16 buttons, so you can use it to play modern fighting games. Another upside is that this is a dual layout controller, meaning you can use it like a leverless or WASD controller.
With all that said, the T16-PU’s buttons are 25.8 mm, so you are relieved from smaller buttons that require more precision. As for the function buttons, they include the following:

Moving onward, the T16-PU uses low profile Crystal switches that are pretty fast in spite of being quiet. If you have another preference, the switches are hot swappable.
The T16-PU has less than a millisecond of input lag. That’s because it runs on the excellent GP2040-CE firmware, which can be updated online.
You also get a mini screen atop the T16-PU. It gives you useful info like which input, directional, and SOCD modes you’re in. The screen also shows a visual of your button presses.
Hardware
The T16-PU is a slim controller. It’s mainly made of acrylic, and it’s light. Still, there’s plenty of space for your palms to relax.
In the T16-PU’s center back, there’s a USB-C port, and on the right, there’s a USB-A port where you can insert a compatibility boosting adapter like the BOOTER 5.
About stability, the T16-PU is wide enough to place on your lap or desk. What helps even more is that there are feet at the bottom for anti-slipping purposes.
Appearance
It’s about time we revealed a little secret: the T16-PU’s name probably comes from the fact that this controller has polyurethane on top as a type of cruelty-free faux leather.
