Performance
The Caster can be as good as you want it to be. This means you can get a Sanwa joystick & buttons for maximum responsivity and durability. Talk about smooth inputs with optimal travel distance so that:
- You do not trigger an input by accident.
- You also don’t have to make exaggerated movements to register an input.
Such is the case with Sanwa parts usually. That said, what should be included with your purchase of a Caster are some function buttons.
In fact, there is room for at least six function buttons, which is enough for modern fighting games. Also, these buttons are recessed, preventing accidental presses and tournament disqualifications.
You also get foam pads with your Caster to keep it in place during the most hectic matches. These pads work quite well, so good job to Raw Super Arcade for that.
Hardware
The Caster comes with a pretty sturdy acrylic enclosure that has considerable weight, adding to its premium feel. Furthermore, there is a lot of space inside for easy wiring. Speaking of which, you will have to grab some wires yourself to hook up the controller internally.
While you’re at it, grab a PCB as well, alright? It can be as good as a Brook PCB compatible with many consoles and almost zero input lag.

Appearance
To describe the Caster’s shape in simple terms: two of its corners are pointy, and two of its corners are round—which is a unique look for fightsticks.
Also available are opaque and mini versions of the Caster. You may or may not prefer having a transparent fightstick that lets you see its internals straight away.
