Introduction
We’re excited to present to you the BattleHut V16B, which is an ergonomic controller! Its button panels and wrist rests are slanted, relaxing your wrists into a comfortable position.
Performance
Regarding the V16B’s buttons, they’re bigger than your standard 30 mm buttons, but because the layout is more compact, your fingers should get less fatigued.
The V16B’s buttons (as well as its D-pad) have Sanwa microswitches with a guided linear motion—and just a couple of millimeters of travel distance.
As for the V16B’s D-pad:
- Makes the controller usable in WASD format
- Can set the left thumb button to up or down
- Diagonal button access in eight directions
- Easy finger sliding across the buttons
By the way, the V16B features a turbo mode. Moreover, five function buttons can be found on the controller’s right side, and we’ll give you examples of what such function buttons could do:
| Button | Function |
|---|---|
| Home | Go to the home screen. |
| Back | Go to the previous screen. |
| TP/share | Use the touchpad—or capture. |
| Turbo | Turn a button press into many. |
| Start | Pause the game. |
Hardware
The V16B is made of materials like:
- Polymeric foam
- Natural rubber
- PLA
- PVB
- PMMA
There are different versions of the controller, such as the V16B-FU, which contains the Brook UFB Fusion PCB—a multiplatform powerhouse with four SOCD cleaning modes. PlayStation 5 fighting games are compatible, but Xbox Series X compatibility requires that you buy the V16B-XB version instead.
Conclusion
One of the V16B’s most distinguishable features—compared to its ergonomic competitors—is its sheer size. If size, ergonomics, and luxury are what you’re looking for: then check this innovation out!
