The joystick is mediocre. Diagonal motions are particularly hard to pull off, but not impossible. What you have to do is overcompensate with your wrist movements. Whatever you did with other joysticks, do it more exaggeratedly with this joystick. As for the buttons, they feel rather mushy, and you have to press them harder than average for something to register, but beware of damaging them. What adds insult to injury is the small size and awkward positioning of the buttons, which may make it difficult for you to press the right button amidst the heat of battle. Finally, the lack of rubber pads or suction cups makes the arcade stick less stable than others, but you can admittedly stabilize it easily enough, just not that easy.

The size of the arcade stick is okay, given that it is a mini arcade stick. It is not too small, which is a good thing, and it should fit the average pair of legs just fine. Placing it on a desk is fine as well. There is storage in the back for the cable as well as the removable joystick, but you may need to cram everything in. One caveat is not to overtighten the joystick to offset any of its shortcomings as that would probably make it even worse. On a side note, the base can be detached with a screwdriver. Although the cable is not the three meter industry standard, it is still long enough to play from a distance. As for compatibility, your PC may recognize the arcade stick as a Nintendo Switch controller, so you may have to be a bit resourceful to get it to work, but nothing major. You may also need a PlayStation 4 controller to actually play on the PS4.

This is an okay looking arcade stick. Black and yellow is a combination that is not very widespread, and it is pulled off well here, but the cartoonish feel of the artwork may not be for everyone, especially the font of the text.
