The Sanwa buttons have just the right amount of depth to them so that there is feedback with each press but not too much travel time to the point of reducing response time. The joystick’s sound is loud enough to provide feedback but not loud enough to be distracting or give away a player’s actions when playing alongside an opponent. When tested for input delay, it did not perform as well as other AAA arcade sticks, but the difference was rather negligible.

The weighty unit is optimal to be placed on a table or into a customize arcade cabinet but not the most comfortable on a lap, especially if used for long periods of time, and fighting gamers are known for their long grinding sessions. As for the ball top and bat top, they can easily be removed and replaced as well due to a screw on system. Opening the lid of the unit is in fact easy as claimed. There are two red buttons on the sides of the unit that can be pressed to pop open the lid. The PCB is not removable, though. Besides any modifications the player would like to make within the unit’s inner workings, there is also space to store additional pieces and tools. The USB cable is to be stored in a back compartment of the unit, and it is not detachable. Also, the cable is not very sturdy.

The moment the unit is unboxed, it is clear that it was carefully crafted with quality material. The colors in addition to the stock artwork are beyond sleek. The red buttons are easily distinguishable from the other buttons without distorting the color scheme of the arcade stick.
